Sagging skin is part of the aging process, which cannot be avoided. However it is possible to prolong its inset and even reduce the amount of sag of your skin using a few home remedies. Most important, it’s better to reduce your exposure to the harmful sun rays, reduce your alcohol consumption and drink as much water as possible.
Cucumber is helpful for tightening loose and saggy skin as it is a great natural skin toner, which rejuvenates and refreshes your skin. Extract its juice by grinding half a cucumber and squeezing through a strainer. Apply the juice on your face, leave it till it dries and rinse off with cool water. Do this once a day.
Also combine a tablespoon of grated coconut and plain yogurt and apply and leave on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water and repeat a few times a week.
Another face mask comprises of two tablespoons of fresh cucumber juice, 3-5 drops of vitamin E oil and an egg white. Apply it to your face and neck and wash off with cool water after 15 minutes. Do this once a week for best results.
Use a natural oil like olive oil to massage your face and neck as it helps tighten loose skin to make it firm and smooth. Moreover, its antioxidants have anti-aging benefits which help keep your skin well moisturized.
For better effects, slightly warm the virgin olive oil in the microwave before applying to your face. Massage making circular motions with your fingers for 10 minutes; its better doing this every day before sleeping.
Instead of olive oil, you can also use grape seed, coconut, avocado, almond or jojoba oil to massage your face, arms, neck and legs.
